November/December 2007

The issue also details the Google Book Search Library Project and the usage of tablet PCs to enhance the learning experience.

September/October 2007

The September/October 2007 issue of EdTech: Focus on Higher Education magazine features a cover story on upgrading to Windows Vista. The issue includes articles on avoiding data breaches, employing mass communication systems, adopting seven approaches to saving power and managing e-mail. A peer review examines two content filtering options.

May/June 2007

The May/June 2007 issue of EdTech: Focus on Higher Education features a cover story on how universities are converting mountains of data into strategic Business Intelligence. Also included are articles on the value of gaming and virtual classrooms in higher education; outsourcing help-desk functions; the use of iTunes University to create and distribute course content; and ways in which campuses can save power. Case studies on University of New Hampshire’s move to enterprise data management and Cal State San Marcos’ use of an application virtualization program to reduce deployment time are also included.
